Despite being fallible, the affably named Oracle of Omaha has doubled-up the annualized total return of the benchmark S 500 since taking over as the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A)(NYSE: BRK.B) in 1965. On an aggregate basis, we're talking about a gain or more than 4,380,000% for Berkshire's Class A shares (BRK.A), compared to a total return, including dividends paid, of less than 30,000% for the S 500, as of the closing bell on Sept. 27, 2023.
