Costco (NASDAQ: COST) will post its third-quarter earnings report next week, right in the heat of the holiday shopping season. We already know the world's second-largest retailer, behind Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT), will have good news for investors about its sales growth pace. It might report healthy profit gains, too, as its recent membership price hike starts lifting the bottom line.
