Stocks had a strong day, making up for much of the market's losses over the past week. The Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) led Wall Street higher, but gains were sizable for the S 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) and Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) as well.
