While the Xbox One is a top-tier gaming console and only second in sales to Sony's (NYSE: SNE) PlayStation 4, it's actually not a big part of Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) overall business. That, however, does not mean it's an insignificant part of its strategy.
