The U.S. Census Bureau defines the millennial generation as people born between 1982 and 2000 (ages 17 to 35), and while this is certainly a pretty wide age range, there are certain trends and characteristics that have emerged about this generation. This makes the millennials the biggest generation in U.S. history. For comparison, the massive baby-boomer generation has about 77 million people. What's more, millennials make up nearly half of the current U.S. workforce.
