4 Senior Executives Are Leaving Sanofi Following New CEO's Strategic Overhaul

News broke on Tuesday morning that four top executives from Sanofi (NASDAQ: SNY) will be leaving the company as part of a broader strategic shift from Sanofi's new CEO. Bloomberg reported that the departing executives are Ameet Nathwani, the company's chief medical officer and chief digital officer, Dieter Weinard, executive vice president (EVP) of primary care, Kathleen Tregoning, EVP of external affairs, and Dominique Carouge, EVP of business transformation.

The departures are seen as a consequence of Sanofi's new CEO, Paul Hudson, who is working to revamp the healthcare giant's corporate strategy. He was hired in September 2019 and since then has implemented a number of changes in the company.
