Activision Blizzard Investor Urges Shareholders to Vote No on CEO's Compensation
Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI) is facing opposition from investor CtW Investment Group, which wants shareholders to vote down CEO Robert Kotick's compensation.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, CtW Investment called on shareholders to vote against the company's "Say-On-Pay" proposal at the video game maker's annual shareholder meeting slated for June 11. In the filing, the investment group said over the past four years Kotick has received more than $20 million in stock and stock options per year, which is larger than the total pay of CEOs at rival companies.
