Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) is scheduled to report third-quarter earnings on Wednesday, Oct. 27. Investors are expecting the company to have capitalized on continued reopening trends worldwide.

The pandemic onset had a more negative effect on Coca-Cola than rival PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP), so reopening economies are likely to have a more positive effect on Coca-Cola than PepsiCo.
