Could Americans Get a Fourth Stimulus Check After the Latest $1,400 Payment?

Before President Joe Biden was inaugurated, he promised Americans they'd receive a third coronavirus stimulus check. His administration has now followed through on this promise, working with Congress to pass the American Rescue Plan Act. This law authorized $1,400 stimulus payments for eligible adults and dependents.
The IRS has already started distributing payments into people's bank accounts and will mail out checks in late March and early April. But even before all of these payments have gone out, some lawmakers have begun urging the government to provide even more money.
