SHW AG: responds to the COVID-19 pandemic with additional measures/Guidance for 2020 suspended

Aalen, 24 March 2020. SHW AG responds to the rapid escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Management Board of SHW AG has passed a resolution to temporarily reduce production capacity by making use of the German state-funded reduced working hours scheme ("Kurzarbeit"). This allows SHW AG to respond rapidly to a reduction in customer demand and potential interruptions in the supply chain.

The current spread of COVID-19 requires a daily reassessment of the economic impact. The guidance already published for fiscal year 2020 is therefore suspended for the time being.
