Elon Musk's SpaceX Shuttles Astronauts to the Space Station

Eight years after its first cargo delivery to the International Space Station (ISS), SpaceX successfully launched astronauts on their way to the space station yesterday. The launch blasted off on schedule at 7:27 p.m. EST on Sunday evening. 

SpaceX, the brainchild of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), sent the company's Dragon capsule into orbit carrying four astronauts from Cape Canaveral, Florida, using the company's Falcon 9 rocket.
