Goldman Sachs Raises 2021, 2022 GDP Forecasts; Predicts 2024 Rate Hike

Ever-influential investment bank Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) has become more bullish on the U.S. economy. The company has raised its GDP forecasts for not only the upcoming second quarter of this year but for the entirety of both 2021 and 2022.

Goldman now believes that year-over-year growth for arguably the most closely watched macroeconomy metric will be 11% in Q2, a full percentage point over its previous estimate of 10%.
