Google Cancels Job Offers to More Than 2,000 Workers

For the longest time, Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) subsidiary Google has been known to depend heavily upon a workforce of temporary employees and contractors. Google employs so many temps and contractors, in fact, that its non-employee workforce actually outnumbers Google's actual employees.  

That mismatch is shrinking a bit this month -- but not in a good way.
