If You Invested $10,000 in Eli Lilly 10 Years Ago, This Is How Much You Would Have Today

Did you know that in 2011, Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) reported revenue of $24.3 billion? At first glance, it may appear as though the company hasn't grown a whole lot, given that this past year its top line was $28.3 billion, just 16% higher. With numbers like that, investors might not expect to earn a good return from a stock with such underwhelming growth.
