Realty Income (NYSE: O) owns some fine properties. And as a real estate investment trust (REIT), it's required to pay out 90% of its taxable income each year via dividends. For those looking for attractive income investments, a REIT could fit the bill. It could also serve as an inflation hedge since it owns properties that could appreciate over time.
