What would you invest in if you were the world's fourth-richest person? For Bill Gates, the question isn't hypothetical. The co-founder is the world's fourth-richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, with an estimated net worth of $129 billion.

Fortunately for us, the answer to the question above isn't hypothetical, either. Gates just invested $940 million -- almost $1 billion -- in European beer maker Heineken (OTC: HEINY).
