PayPal Will Allow Customers to Buy and Sell Cryptocurrencies on Its Platform

PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ: PYPL) announced today that it is rolling out a new feature that will allow account holders to buy and sell cryptocurrency on the platform, as well as use the digital assets to make purchases from its network of 26 million merchants.

Customers will be able to use their PayPal digital wallets to buy and sell bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin to start. PayPal is partnering with Paxos Trust Company to make the offering possible.
