Philip Morris International Q3 Beats on Revenue, Earnings

Thanks to a business that is pandemic-proof, to an extent, Philip Morris International (NYSE: PM) had a better-than-expected Q3 of fiscal 2020. 

During the quarter, the results of which the company published on Tuesday, net revenue was just under $7.45 billion, which was down by 2.6% on a year-over-year basis. Non-GAAP (adjusted) operating income was up slightly, rising by 1.9% to $3.24 billion. On a per-share, adjusted basis, Philip Morris earned $1.42 for the period.
