Pinterest Continues Growing Revenue and Users

Pinterest (NYSE: PINS) reported first-quarter results on Tuesday, April 27 to a disappointed audience. Investors sent shares tumbling after the earnings were announced. The disappointment arose partly because Pinterest reported flat user growth in the U.S. and said that the metric would remain flat next quarter as well.

Further, investors got the news that as pandemic restrictions started easing in some countries and people became more mobile, their usage on Pinterest decreased. Still, Pinterest reported robust revenue growth and added nearly 20 million monthly active users (MAUs) to its platform.
