Investors are now firmly in bull mode to start 2023, as major market benchmarks extended their beginning-of-year gains Friday. Gains for the leading Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) were the largest, but both the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) and the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) were up as well.
