USAT: Why Chipotle Stock Just Dropped 5%

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) stock is getting singed today, down 5.2% as of 12:35 p.m. EDT on news that the City of New York is suing the fast-casual food chain for violations of the city's Fair Workweek Law.

As the Mayor's Press Office announced today, the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is alleging "widespread violations of the City's Fair Workweek Law, which requires predictable schedules in the fast food and retail industries and a pathway to stable, full-time employment for fast food workers."
