Volkswagen Reveals All-New Electric SUV for U.S., China, and Europe
Volkswagen (OTC: VWAGY) unveiled its first all-electric SUV and said that it will be launched in the United States, China, and Europe later this year. The Volkswagen ID.4 will be the second model to use VW's new modular electric platform, and the first to be built and sold in the United States.

VW brand chief Ralf Brandstatter said that the ID.4's shape is optimized for aerodynamic efficiency, enabling greater range from a given battery pack. The SUV will be offered in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions, with several available battery pack options offering ranges up to 500 kilometers (310 miles).
