After having spiked by as much as 20% in early trading, shares of 1-800-Flowers.com (NASDAQ: FLWS) were up by 6.6% as of 1:30 p.m. ET on Thursday following the release of the company's fiscal fourth-quarter earnings results before the market opened.

   

For the quarter, which ended July 2, revenues fell 18% year over year, but management had positive things to say about the direction of the business that boosted investor confidence.
