Why Boeing, MarketAxess Holdings, and Anthem Slumped Today

The major market indexes closed mixed on Wednesday, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite hitting record highs, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell modestly.

Boeing (NYSE: BA), a Dow component, posted its largest quarterly loss ever due to its 737 MAX woes. Elsewhere, rising costs hurt Q2 results for MarketAxess Holdings (NASDAQ: MKTX) and Anthem (NYSE: ANTM).
