Shares of Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) fell 44% in March, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

The decline has taken the shares of the restaurant operator to a nearly six-year low. Year to date, the shares have tumbled by a whopping 51%.
