Why General Electric Stock Popped 7% Today

Shares of General Electric (NYSE: GE) stock popped nearly 7% in early trading Tuesday before giving back some of its gains. At 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, GE stock retained a healthy 3.2% gain -- about twice the S&P 500's.
