Why Green Thumb Industries, Canopy Growth, and OrganiGram Holdings Stocks All Popped Today
Marijuana stocks are hopping in Tuesday morning trading. Shares of Green Thumb Industries (OTC: GTBIF) are up 2.3% at 10:15 a.m. EDT, Canopy Growth (NASDAQ: CGC) stock up 4.5%, and OrganiGram Holdings (NASDAQ: OGI) doing best of all -- up 5.5%.
It's not immediately apparent what all the fuss is about. None of the three stocks have reported earnings. No analysts have upgraded any of the stocks or raised price targets either. Here's the likely reason.
