Why IronNet Stock Is Dropping Today

IronNet (NYSE: IRNT) shareholders lost ground to the market on Thursday as the stock fell 9% by 1:15 p.m. ET compared to a 0.6% drop in the S&P 500. That drop added to significant short-term losses for the cybersecurity specialist, whose volatile stock had been up 30% at one point in 2022 but is now down over 20%.

Thursday's drop came in response to management's preliminary fiscal fourth-quarter earnings report.
