Of the various trends to emerge from the pandemic, one is the undeniable decline in college enrollment and its continuing drop. According to the National Student Clearinghouse, there are 1 million fewer students enrolled in college right now than there were prior to the pandemic. What are the factors driving this trend, and could it continue over the next year?
