Why Manchester United Stock Is a Loser Today

British soccer (er, football) club stock Manchester United (NYSE: MANU) sold off by 7.9% through 10:45 a.m. ET Wednesday after reporting massive losses in the final quarter of its fiscal 2024 this morning.

In total, revenues for Q4 fell 15% to 142.2 million GBP ($185 million), leading to staggering losses on the bottom line.

How bad was the news? Q4 net losses surged 1,152% to 36.3 million GBP ($47.2 million). Operating losses grew 10,700% year over year.
