Why Moody's Stock Plunged 10.1% in February

Moody's (NYSE: MCO) saw its stock price trend lower in February, falling 10.1% for the month, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. The stock is currently trading at about $294 per share as of March 7, up about 5% year to date.

The major market indexes were all down in February, as the S&P 500 fell 2.6%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 4.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 1.1% for the month.
