Why NovoCure Stock Soared 32% in July

Shares of NovoCure (NASDAQ: NVCR), which makes a device for treating cancerous solid tumors with electric fields, rocketed 31.6% higher in July, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence.

For context, the S&P 500 returned 1.4% last month.

NovoCure stock has been on a tear in 2019, with shares up 157% this year through Aug. 2, versus the broader market's 18.3% return.
