Why Nvidia Stock Dropped 4.5% Today

After starting off the new year with a healthy 2%-plus gain yesterday, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) stock took a turn for the worse this morning. As of 11:50 a.m. ET, shares of the semiconductor giant are down 4.5% -- erasing all of yesterday's gains and even a bit more.

You can probably thank ASML Holding (NASDAQ: ASML) for this slump.
