Why Plug Power Stock Jumped Today

Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG) stock shot up this morning, rising 4.5% as of 9:40 a.m. ET. With the hydrogen fuel cell company making headway into Europe, investors in clean energy saw an opportunity in Plug Power stock today.

This morning, Plug Power announced that it'll build a 100-megawatt green hydrogen generation plant at Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Europe with an annual capacity of 12,500 tons per year.
