Why Shares of Bank of America Are Rising Today

Shares of Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) traded more than 4% higher as of 2:10 p.m. ET today after it reported solid earnings results for the first quarter of 2022.

Bank of America reported earnings per share of $0.80 in the quarter on revenue of $23.2 billion. Both numbers beat analyst estimates for the quarter.
