Why Tesla Stock Jumped on Monday

Shares of electric-car maker Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) jumped higher on Monday, rising as much as 5.4%. As of 11:00 a.m. EDT, however, the stock was up about 4.2%.

The stock's gain follows a report that Tesla's deliveries of the made-in-China version of its Model 3 jumped to a record high in China during May.
