Your First Look at the Intel Corporation 18-Core Monster Chip

On May 30, Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) unveiled its entire Core X lineup for the high-end desktop personal computer market. The company has signaled that it intends to roll these processors out in three phases over the next four months.

The first phase of the rollout includes four-, six-, eight-, and 10-core processors, ranging in price from $249 at the very bottom of the stack up to $999 for the 10-core Core i9-7900X.
