3D printing: Groupe Gorgé announces the sale of its first machine in South Korea

Groupe Gorgé has announced the sale of its first 3D printing machine for the dental industry in South Korea.

The Prodways teams have just completed the sale of a D35 to a key Korean player in the field of 3D imaging for medicine and dentistry. Their client is currently in the process of rolling out 3D scanner solutions and was searching for dental model producers of the highest possible quality. This order was won at the end of a period in which the different technologies available worldwide were evaluated. The Movinglight technology showed itself to be superior both in the very high quality of the parts produced and its high level of productivity. This customer's production needs are certain to rise as the market for 3D scanner solutions continues to trend upwards.

This first machine was sold together by a post-treatment solution and a training and service contract, all for a price in the region of €400,000. It is set for delivery in 2014. This is the ninth D 35 sold since the company was set up, and the second since it was taken over by Groupe Gorgé.
