Activity for the third quarter of 2012

Audika Group generated revenues of EUR 20.6 million in the third quarter (July to September), a decline of 2.0% and a drop of 3.4% in organic terms. This trend, which is a slight improvement on the two previous quarters, is the result of a hearing correction market that remains impacted by the unfavorable economic and media backdrop.

A continuing trend in France

In France, Audika Group's revenues decreased by 2.2% to EUR 19.1 million. Audika is continuing its marketing drives with the launch of a new campaign as of September, which is expected to boost business over the coming months. Furthermore, Audika continued to strengthen its network over the quarter with two acquisitions (one center in Charente Maritime and one center in Indre et Loire), which will generate additional full-year revenues of EUR 0.3 million. At the same time, Audika set up three new centers – one in Meurthe et Moselle, one in Morbihan and one in Seine Maritime.

Slight growth in Italy

In Italy, Audika confirmed the improving trend with revenues of EUR 1.5 million, a 0.6% increase compared to the same period last year, following several quarters of decline. As such, the Group is beginning to reap the benefits of its major operational overhaul.

Outlook

Overall, business generated in the third quarter of 2012 brings Audika's nine-month revenues to EUR 74.7 million, a 3.4% decline and a 4.5% drop like-for-like.

Audika is beginning the fourth quarter, which is traditionally the busiest of the year, with the aim of rebounding with positive growth, drawing on the impacts of the Group's marketing campaign and also benefiting from a more favorable basis of comparison.

Audika Group will publish its full-year 2012 revenues on January 14, 2013 after market close.
