For the first time in nearly five years, Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) stock is trading for less than $300. The fast-casual Mexican chain released a somewhat disappointing third-quarter earnings report on Tuesday afternoon. Investors quickly punished Chipotle for the subpar results, sending the stock plunging 15% on Wednesday.
However, while investors have grown impatient with the pace of Chipotle's recovery, the company still has a good chance of rebuilding its profitability over time. This makes Chipotle stock very enticing at its recent trading price.
