The Trade Desk went public in September 2016 at $28.75, 60% higher than its IPO price of $18. The company has since become a stock market darling, with its share price nearly doubling in less than a year.
With that kind of growth, investors were looking closely for any signs of weakness when the company reported financial results for just the fourth time since its public debut. The high flyer did not disappoint and the stock continued its relentless upward trek.
