Stocks finished lower on Wednesday, although the damage was fairly limited. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) and S 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) suffered somewhat steeper losses, approaching 1%, but the damage to the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) was less than half a percent in the end.
