Its revenue rose 22% year over year to $45.3 billion, beating analysts' estimates by $1.3 billion. Its adjusted earnings grew 25% to $2.27 per share, which cleared expectations by $0.19.
For the second quarter, Microsoft expects its revenue to rise 16%-18% year over year, which also surpasses analysts' expectations for 14% growth.
