In contrast to the intense optimism we saw on the market during the trading day, the after-hours scene is mixed.
There are reasons for investors to be optimistic -- after months of "will they or won't they" suspense, IT companies Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) and Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) finally effected a sale.
