Bank of New York Mellon Makes Interim CEO Permanent
Bank of New York Mellon (NYSE: BK) has removed the "interim" from its CEO nameplate. The company announced Monday that Thomas Gibbons is now its permanent CEO, effective immediately.
Gibbons was named interim chief last September, replacing the departing Charles Scharf.
