Here's Why These 3 COVID-19 Vaccine Stocks Got Crushed This Week

COVID-19 vaccine stocks are having a terrible week, and developers whose vaccines have yet to gain approval in the all-important U.S. market are having an especially hard time.

For example, Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: INO) stock was down by 14% so far this week as of 2:03 p.m. ET Friday, while Novavax (NASDAQ: NVAX) and Dynavax Technologies (NASDAQ: DVAX) were each down by more than 20%, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence. All three of these laggards in the coronavirus vaccine race are getting crushed because of concerns about the omicron variant.
