In early December, salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) announced that it would acquire workplace communication tool Slack Technologies (NYSE: WORK) for roughly $28 billion. This was by far the company's largest acquisition to date. Investor weren't impressed by the deal, sending shares to 8% in the wake of the announcement.
