Is the Worst Over for GameStop?


Video game retailer GameStop (NYSE: GME) has been on a roller coaster ride in 2020. Share prices fell more than 40% in the first three months of the calendar year as the COVID-19 pandemic forced GameStop to close its physical stores. The stock caught a second wind just six months later and is now trading 56% higher year to date.

These glitches make the S&P 500 index look comparatively tame.
