Thermo Fisher Scientific to Produce Millions of COVID-19 Test Kits in the Next Few Weeks
America's capacity to detect the coronavirus responsible for COVID-19 will get an enormous bump from Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE: TMO). The world's largest producer of scientific tools says it expects to have produced up to 5 million testing kits by the week of April 3.
On Friday, the Food and Drug Administration granted emergency use authorization to COVID-19 testing kits from Thermo Fisher Scientific, Roche (OTC: RHHBY), and a slew of their peers.
