Stocks made gains on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) and the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) both closing at record highs.

Banks led the market on rising interest rates, and the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (NYSEMKT: KRE) gained 0.8%. Healthcare stocks were weak; the Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSEMKT: XLV) gave up 0.4%.
